Our Services

The ISI Consortium collaborates with two institutes of higher education in Italy, the Umbra Institute in Perugia and the International Studies Institute in Florence.

Both institutions are committed to providing academic programs of exceptional quality. The International Studies Institute is not a "provider"; we manage our own academic centers abroad and offer a full-spectrum of provider services. Our institutional relations team provides assistance with program information (webinars and info sessions), site visits, study abroad fairs, inquiry and application processing, visa support, pre-departure services, and more.

The Institutes' dedicated staff and faculty are well-versed in providing educational programs in Italy ensuring that every student is afforded a meaningful academic experience in a safe and rewarding international environment. ISI study abroad programs have gained an industry-wide reputation of academic quality and unparalleled student services.

As a Consortium member you not only have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with other member institutions, but also have a direct relationship with the institutions providing the study abroad experience for your students and faculty. This allows us to attend to both students' and institutional needs in a direct and timely manner while providing an exceptional level of personalized services with the maximum cost-benefit.

Academic Programs

Today more than ever it is important that every college and university student include an international educational experience as part of their curriculum. That is only possible by offering a diverse and culturally-immersive study-abroad curriculum which is both affordable and credit-bearing.

The ISI Consortium is committed to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to study abroad. ISI Abroad offers semester, full-year and summer programs as well as short-term faculty-led and other customized programs. Students also have access to practicums, internships, independent research projects, as well as service learning and community-engagement opportunities, and a host of co- and extra-curricular activities.
